What’s Available for our Children? Starting with excellent nursery, there is something special for every age group! At Sunday morning service there is safe, and clean nursery care for children two years of age and younger. For children three years old through sixth grade there are fun, friendly, and Bible-centered classes. These classes are staffed with trained, friendly, and well-qualified teachers and helpers who make church exciting and memorable for your child. Our teens also participate in activities with other local congregations in the area and have fun activities every month. Each year a missions trip is planned for our teens where they can contribute to mission works around the world. It is here where they discover a deeper walk with God and actively engage with foreign missions. 3. What Are the Services Like? Sunday mornings, you can participate in encouraging and uplifting music, as well as enjoy inspiring music from soloists and special groups. The music is always followed by a clear, helpful, and challenging Bible message from Pastor Falk. Each service is just about an hour and 15 minutes long. We also have a Sunday evening service (completely different from Sunday morning) that begins at 6:00 p.m. Again, in this service you'll enjoy the special music as well as a challenging and helpful message from Pastor Falk. We also meet on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. for a mid-week Bible study. If you can't be our guest on Sunday morning, we hope you'll visit with us during another service time. 4. How Should I Dress? There is not a dress code at Fishers Baptist Church for members or guests. We are more interested in what is going on the inside of man than what he wears on the outside. Nevertheless, if you are interested, our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress with the purpose "to do all things to the glory of God." However, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Fishers Baptist Church and don't expect you to come "all dressed up"...we only want you to be ready to receive the Word of God and expect to hear from God. 5. Am I Expected to Participate in the Offering? No, not at all! In fact, we do not even pass an offering plate. We have an offering box located in the back of the auditorium for those who seek to worship the Lord through their giving. We don't invite you to Fishers Baptist Church for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm family spirit, truth from God's Word, and a place where you can grow in God's grace. Other questions? If there's something we missed on this list, just give us a call at 317-577-1777, leave a question... or ask someone when you arrive. Whether you're new to the area and looking for a church home, or if it's been a long time since you've attended church at all, we hope your first visit at Fishers Baptist Church will be a blessing! We exist to serve you and your family, and we are looking forward to meeting you personally. Let us know how we can serve you better. We hope to meet you this Sunday! |
